Arsenal boss, Unai Emery has one to two games left to save his job as the spectre of Jose Mourinho looms over the Emirates, according to reports.
Emery is under pressure over in north London after overseeing a difficult campaign, where they’ve slipped to fifth in the Premier League table.
The common consensus up to this point is that the Gunners boss will be given until the end of the campaign to turn things around, with the club’s board eager for him to be an Emirates hit.
But The Times says the Arsenal manager has one to two games of credit left to save his job at the club.
And Mourinho, it seems, is in line to succeed him.
Arsenal have dismissed the claim that he had dinner with Gunners supremo Raul Sanlehhi amid the struggles of Emery.
But he’s the favourite for the job at the time of asking.
Mourinho reportedly wants to take on Arsenal to prove he can still cut it in the Premier League after difficult spells at Chelsea and Manchester United.
He won the Premier League title when he returned to Stamford Bridge, lifting the prize in 2014.
